Using Blixxy
By creating an account you agree to use Blixxy only to post genuine home-service jobs and to communicate honestly with providers. You agree to provide accurate job descriptions, photos, and access details.
Payments & escrow
When you confirm a provider, Blixxy authorizes your payment method and holds the funds in escrow. Funds are released to the provider only after you approve the completed work. Blixxy retains a 15% commission on completed jobs.
Cancellations & disputes
You can cancel a job before work begins at no cost. If you dispute a completed job, Blixxy support reviews the case and may issue a refund. Abusive or fraudulent disputes may result in account suspension. For full details, see our Dispute & Cancellation Policy.
Provider background checks
All providers must pass a criminal background check through Checkr. Blixxy reserves the right to deny or remove any provider based on background-check results and ongoing eligibility review.
Liability
Blixxy is a marketplace that connects homeowners with independent providers. Providers are independent businesses responsible for the quality of their work. Blixxy is not liable for Provider workmanship but facilitates dispute resolution.
Account changes
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
SMS Terms
You can contact Blixxy Home Services LLC by calling or texting 1-833-254-9990. By texting Blixxy Home Services LLC or opting in to SMS communications, you agree to receive conversational text messages regarding your inquiry, appointment, job, service request, order, or account. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for assistance. Your mobile number will not be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
Background Check Policy
Blixxy conducts background checks through Checkr. Applicants with convictions for violent felonies, sexual offenses, crimes against children, homicide, kidnapping, or similar serious offenses may be denied. Minor misdemeanors and non-violent offenses are reviewed individually and do not automatically disqualify an applicant.
